We inspire to develop the culture of Artificial Intelligence and Electronics in IIT Roorkee. We aim to innovate existing technology by integrating Artificial Intelligence with hardware components to create interesting projects.

Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are cutting-edge technologies. AI involves machines simulating human intelligence, while ML teaches machines to learn from data. They automate tasks, analyze data, and power innovations like chatbots, recommendation systems, and autonomous vehicles. AR/VR and Dev

AR and VR technologies are revolutionizing software development. AR enhances the real world with digital overlays, while VR immerses users in virtual environments. Developers are at the forefront, crafting interactive content for gaming, training, and simulations, blurring the line between digital and reality. These technologies have transformative potential across industries, from enhancing remote collaboration to revolutionizing education and entertainment experiences.

Drones and Robotics

A drone, in technological terms, is an unmanned aircraft. Drones are more formally known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or unmanned aircraft systems (UASes). Essentially, a drone is a flying robot that can be remotely controlled or fly autonomously through software-controlled flight plans in their embedded systems, working in conjunction with onboard sensors and GPS.
Robotics is the intersection of science, engineering, and technology that focuses on the design, construction, operation, and use of robots. These autonomous or semi-autonomous machines are designed to perform tasks efficiently and precisely, often in situations that are hazardous or repetitive for humans. Robotics has applications in manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, space exploration, and more, offering opportunities for automation, efficiency, and innovation across various industries.

Valeo Innovation Challenge

Valeo Innovation Challenge encourages students from all over the world to innovate and to develope enterpreneurial spirit, offering the winner the opportuity to create their own start-ups. A team from ArIES IITR consisting of Amit Manchanda, Raghav Chawla, Snehil Vijay and Sharanpreet Singh Lobana succesfuly completed the challange which was held in France.

Inter-IIT, First Position

Inter-IIT Tech meet 2018 was held in IIT Bombay. We as a team participated in several ardent competitions, exhibitions and eluminating talks and grabbed Gold Medals in several events.
